Apply foundation with a foundation brush for the best results, but fingertips or a sponge may be used. Start by applying a dab of foundation to lips. This will allow you to see any imperfections on the skin more clearly because the whole face will have the same color value. Beginning in center of face, apply foundation sweeping outward from the center of the face. Move to other areas of the face, blending toward hairline. For areas that require more coverage, apply more foundation by tapping it onto face. (Sweeping motion may remove the first application.)
