No, Satinique™ Extra Volume Shampoo was not tested on animals. The 18-MEA ingredient from Enerjuve™ Complex, however, is derived from wool, but sheep were not harmed for this ingredient. Does Satinique™ Extra Volume Shampoo contain silicones? Will they build up in my hair? Satinique™ Extra Volume Shampoo does contain some silicones for conditioning purposes.
